The Purpose of Women in H.E.E.L.S, Inc. is to:

to build strong, harmonious relationships amongst women and girls in the DC area.
to prevent gun violence in Washington, DC using a public health, evidenced- based approach to treat violence as a disease that can be interrupted, treated, and stopped from spreading based on data and best practices.
to increase financial literacy amongst women in girls so that they can lead sustainable lives.
to provide social-emotional support through life skill training and personal development workshops.
to teach women how to find balance and understand the importance of self-care, even while maintaining family responsibilities.
